Show Now Open!!!!

A wonderful preview evening full of fun and laughter kicked off the Summer Of Colour exhibition in  style on Friday!!! Artsource Gallety have created an amazing display of our art.  It was such a wonderful feeling seeing everything I’d been working on for the last few months as a complete collection.  A perfect evening….

The show is now open every day until 29th August. It is located by the ferryport in Millbay, Plymouth. (See poster below) There is ample parking and children are very welcome. I have sold a few originals but there are plenty more!!!   Hope you can make it!

One day to go!!!

imageIt’s hanging day at the exhibition venue and what this team have achieved over the last few weeks is phenomenal. I can’t believe we are finally here and about to open. It’s looking absolutely fab and exactly how I imagined, full of colour and light. We will be swinging the doors open on Saturday!!! I will be working on a piece all weekend at the show and any little visitors will be welcome to have a go!!! Hope to see you there!!!

The venue for the Summer of Colour Exhibition has CHANGED to the fabulous Cargo 2 building in Millbay, Plymouth! As you can see it’s an amazing space and both Doug Hinge and I are thrilled to be showcasing our new collections here. The team at Art Source UK and Individual Interior Solutions are doing a grand job of setting up what we feel will be our best exhibition to date. It opens on the 6th August! I would love to meet my blog followers so I do really hope you can attend. image.jpegimage.jpeg

New Piece In Progress!

Those local (and not so local) to these parts may recognise this iconic spot in South Devon. It’s the final piece for the exhibition in August. I haven’t posted everything that’s going in the show as I would like to keep a few surprises for visitors!!! I have posted a few new pieces on my website if you’ve missed any blog posts.  Now I’m spending the day at Burgh Island even if it is in fabric!

My movie!

This short film about my work was recently  created by Plymouth film producer Ellie Burfitt. I think she’s done a fabulous job and I’m hugely grateful for all the time and effort she  put into this production. I hope you enjoy it!

New York New York

I spent this morning brushing up on my free motion embroidery skills.  Steady hands required! The only way I can describe it is drawing with a sewing machine needle rather than a pencil. Rather pleased with my freestyle New York.  Couldn’t be anywhere else really considering it’s Independence Day!!!
